Salad in a Jar

Come prepare for a healthy week leading up to Thanksgiving with a salad in a jar party! 

Who: Anyone! (kids welcome)

When: Thursday, November 21 at 5pm

Where: CommunityCare of Lyme at the Lyme Center Academy Building

Many people have asked – what happens at a salad in a jar party? Why make a salad in a jar?

We gather a group of interested salad makers together and each person brings greens and two toppings to share, as well as five jars. We spend a bit of time connecting and chatting about health and wellness, and share a brief presentation, followed by salad construction!

We create salads in a jar because they are a quick and easy meal on the go. The process of making 50+ salads takes about 20 minutes, and you then have five prepared salads (that last for a week!) that you can grab out of the fridge and dump out onto a plate.
