The beloved holiday tradition returns IN-PERSON this year!
With costumes and carolers, snowflakes and scarves, mistletoe and merriment comes the 38th Annual Wassail Horse & Carriage Holiday Parade! Riders and drivers alike are invited to parade through historic Woodstock, VT in fine Victorian holiday attire while the local community and visitors gather downtown to watch participants ride and drive an approximately 2-mile loop including the Woodstock Green.
This year’s Wassail Parade is on Saturday, December 11th at 2 pm.
Currier and Ives costumes and 19th Century Victorian Seasonal Attire are strongly encouraged. Parade participants will be judged and ribbons will be awarded for the following categories: Best Individual Costume, Best Group, Best Horse Drawn Vehicle, Most Seasonally Attired, Most Historic, Best Junior Entry, and the Judges Award.

The 2021 Wassail parade is brought to you by the Woodstock Area Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with High Horses Therapeutic Riding Program, and the Green Mountain Horse Association to benefit High Horses Therapeutic Riding Program.
