UVMC welcomes Burlington Taiko for a hands-on drumming workshop!
Taiko—Japanese for “big drum”- is a relatively modern revival of ancient Japanese drumming traditions
“Since 1987, Burlington Taiko has been mesmerizing audiences with the powerful, spellbinding and propulsive sounds of the taiko. Burlington Taiko will teach a free taiko drumming workshop for ages 10+, in conjunction with their Hopkins Center performance.”
This workshop is presented in collaboration with Lebanon Libraries and the Hopkins Center for the Arts.
Participation is free but space is limited, so please pre-register to reserve your spot.
Observers are welcome at no cost/no need to RSVP.
