Kid’s Brains & Screens

Starting Sunday 10/13, a five week series focused on parents, children and screens, will be offered at the Thetford Hill Church, Thetford, VT.   Dr. Ray Chin, a child psychologist, is a former Lyme resident.  He and therapy dog “Plato”, a position currently filled by “Dasher” have been an integral part of many Upper Valley schools.  Robin Junker is Pastor of Thetford Hill Church. She has long fought for legislative tools to protect children from online harms.

The five week series is 4-5:30 pm at the Thetford Hill Church.

Lessons cover impact of screens (including educational games) on healthy brain and social development, the state of teens’ mental health  and strategies to help families lessen the negative effect of screens in their children’s lives.”
