DESCRIPTION:If you can walk\, you can contra!\nBeginners always welcome\nContra dancing is a must-do New England tradition.  \nThe dance starts at 7:30\, with a beginner session at 7:15. Dance lasts until 10:30 with potluck snacks at the break – you don’t have to stay the whole time\, but it’s more fun if you do! \nAdmission is a pay-what-you-want scale from $12-20\, $8 for students\, free if you’re under 16. We take Venmo\, cash\, and check! \nMasks welcome\, but not required. \nAnd you’re paying for a LIVE BAND AND CALLER! Lovely and energetic LIZ NELSON will be on the mic calling\, with TRUFFLE CREEK\, a young\, fresh\, and lively band (Lillian Chase on the fiddle\, Jonah Spear on guitar and foot percussion\, and Cecily Mills on the Cello). \nMore dances to come for the fall\, on the second Saturday of the month!
