SUMMARY:VIRTUAL – The Dementia Brain
DESCRIPTION:VIRTUAL – The Dementia Brain\nLeader: Lora Gerard\, MPA \nMondays\, November 6 & 13 \nDementia is often equated with ‘memory problems.’ While this is an important component\, there are many other changes that happen to the brain. This will include modifications to the home environment that may help. We will also discuss how changes to the brain may impact the person in other ways\, such as impulse control and the ability to understand speech. \nThis program consists of two sessions. When you register for the first date\, you are enrolled in both sessions. \nThis program is available for livestreaming at the Aging Resource Center by request for people without devices or with unstable internet. \nYou will receive a zoom link for this class 60 minutes before the class starts. The zoom link will be sent directly to the email you registered with. \nClick HERE for more information and to register\n \nAging Resource Center
