SUMMARY:Farm to Film Fest in WRJ
DESCRIPTION:At JAM Space and Briggs Opera House\nALL DAY\nJoin us for a day celebrating the farmers and farming practices that are working towards a livable climate!\nCome to downtown White River Junction for scrumptious local eats\, a stunning art show\, and thought-provoking films. There will also be live music\, square dancing\, and hands-on activities for kids and families. \nIt matters how farmers farm and eaters eat. SUMMARY:Christmas Market with a Difference in Hanvoer
DESCRIPTION:Christmas Market with a Difference\nAt the Church of Christ at Dartmouth College\nFor 36 years\, the Christmas Market With a Difference at the Church of Christ at Dartmouth College has offered handcrafted treasures and fair trade goods from around the world. \nItems include apparel\, accessories\, baskets\, jewelry\, linens\, clothing\, toys\, ornaments\, home and holiday decor\, and specialty foods. \nThe “difference” between this and many other holiday markets is that all of the proceeds (except from Market Café sales) are returned to the artisans who produce the goods and the organizations representing them. \nThe market has raised more than $1.5 million since its inception in 1987\, helping to provide living wages to many artisans\, and lifting up families and communities in some of the poorest areas of the world. \nParticipating organizations this year include Association for Craft Producers (Nepal)\, Church World Service\, Circus Zambia\, Cocoa Farming Futures Initiative (Grenada)\, Koinonia Farm\, Mil Milagros (Guatemala)\, Q’ewar Project (Peru)\, SERRV\, UNICEF\, and Zienzele Foundation (Zimbabwe). \nMarket hours are Friday\, Nov. 3\, from 10 am to 6 pm\, and Saturday\, Nov. 4\, from 10 am to 3 pm. \nClick HERE for more information

SUMMARY:NH Boys Soccer Championship in Nashua
DESCRIPTION:Hanover vs. Bedford\nAt Stellos Stadium in Nashua\nA note from Jay Davis:\nThis year’s Hanover High boys’ soccer team will be playing for the state championship\, with a foundation of seven (7!) Lyme boys.  Huge congratulations to Ryder Hayes\, Carter and Will Guerin\, Sean Smith\, Wyatt Seelig\, Henry Werner and Joseph Glass!\n\n\nThese athletes played together on the Lyme Rec and Lightning teams for years\, some of them since they were in kindergarten\, and they combine skill with an admirable level of sportsmanship and commitment to the team. (My favorite statistic in most sports is number of assists\, and Carter just set the all-time season record for Hanover.)\n\nBest of luck to these boys and their teammates on Friday  – go Lyme/Hanover! \n\n\n\nNew Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association

SUMMARY:The Search for Personal Identity – Community Conversation
DESCRIPTION:Who Am I?  How Do I know?  Does It Even Matter?\nThe Search for Personal Identity\nMental Health Community Conversation\nwith Philip Kinsler\, PhD\n  \nPersonal identity goes to central issues bedeviling human beings forever. Who are we? When do we feel like we “know” ourselves? Does this sense of self provide any benefits beyond a comfortable feeling? Is there a process that people go through that helps produce a firm sense of self? What are the components of a firm sense of personal identity beyond sexual preference and gender identity? Can we ever really ‘know’ ourselves? Can confusion about personal identity or failure to grapple with the questions involved cause harm? If you or those close to you have or are grappling with such questions come to the talk by Phil Kinsler\, Ph.D.\, below… \n= \nPhilip J. Kinsler\, Ph.D.\, ABPP is a retired clinical and forensic psychologist. He provided therapy to numerous people over a 50 year career. He was a specialist in issues of psychological trauma and a Past President of The International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation\, and author of the Routledge book Complex Psychological Trauma: The Centrality of Relationship\, and numerous other professional publications. He has lectured and taught locally\, nationally\, and internationally. He retired as Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. \nClick here to Register \n\nCommunityCare of Lyme’s Mental Health Team welcomes all interested in being a part of creating programming and identifying resources to support mental health in the community. Email or call\, if you’d like to be involved. \n\nWe are here to help. Call 603-795-0603 or email help@cclyme.dream.press.
