SUMMARY:CLASSICOPIA presents a CHOPIN ZOOM Course
DESCRIPTION:Pianist and Artistic Director Daniel Weiser will be teaching a four-part\nZoom course on the life and music of Frederic Chopin on four consecutive\nWednesdays from Jan. 17 to Feb. 7 from 11:00 to 1:00.  He will perform many\nof the great piano works by Chopin—Ballades\, Noctunes\, Etudes\,\nPolonaises\, Preludes etc—and also talk about his short but very eventful\nlife.  He was friends with many musicians including Liszt and Schumann as\nwell as painters like Delacroix and writers like George Sand.  His deeply\nemotional and lyrical music still resonates today and his method of playing\nthe piano opened whole new worlds to future pianists to explore new shades\nof colors through pedaling\, phrasing\, and rubato. \nTo register for the course and find out more information\, please visit:\nhttps://classicopia.org/concert/frederic-chopin-2/.   If you have to miss\nany (or all) the classes\, Dr. Weiser can send recording links after each\nclass so that you can watch at your own convenience.
