In the early 1970’s, caller Dudley Laufman came through Strafford several times a year, calling dances.
In the more-recent past, caller Nils Fredland decided to “apprentice” with singing-squares caller (and flute-maker) Ralph Sweet.
Local caller David Millstone has made documentary videos about both Dudley and Ralph.
