11 – 11:30am at the South Side of the Fairlee Town Hall

Volunteers from the pop-up pandemic response team HELP@fairleevt.org will wind up their 14-month outdoor distribution of fresh Willing Hands produce this Friday, when the service is partly integrated into the Fairlee-Orford Food Shelf. A list of other nearby free food services, notably those in Orford and Thetford, will be included with this week’s food boxes.

The FAIRLEE-ORFORD FOOD SHELF’S former in-person pick-ups have resumed in the Town Hall for all residents of the Rivendell Interstate School District and now include limited amounts of fresh produce from Willing Hands and other local growers. Hours are MONDAY-THURSDAY 9-3:30 and FRIDAY 10-12. Enter at front door. Please bring your own bag or box, and a mask to wear if so instructed at the door.

For information or to make food or cash donations to the Fairlee-Orford Food Shelf, please contact Georgette (townclerk@fairleevt.org or 802-333-4363 x1). Interested residents are advised to make a note of this information for future reference in case it is not posted regularly in the listservs.
